Reading Solana headlines

Solana reporting can cover the network, SOL trading or individual applications and tokens. A transaction can contain several instructions, so transaction counts and individual actions are not interchangeable. Check what an activity figure actually measures before comparing reports.

What to check in a headline

• For activity and performance claims, look for the measurement period and whether transactions succeeded or failed.
• Identify whether an announcement comes from the network, an application team or an exchange.
• For token stories, verify the named asset and original source instead of relying on a ticker alone.
